On Monday I will go to English class. In July I will go to Menorca. In winter I usually stay at home. I was born in 1982. I usually study in the evening. I will be here in an hour. I will be here at half past seven. The meeting will take place at night. We could meet all together at the weekend. I am working at hospital since 2007. I had lived in Gothenburg for two months. I had been in Dublin three years ago. I will arrive before you leave. You have to stay at bus station at ten to eight. The bus leaves at ten past eight. This week I work from Monday till Friday. I will be in a congress until Thursday. I will arrive by nine o’clock

I was born in 1982.

Perfect.

I usually study in the evening.

Perfect.

I will be here in an hour.

Prepositions look fine, but it should be there, not here.

I will be here at half past seven

Prepositions look good, but again, it should be there.

The meeting will take place at night.

Perfect.

We could meet all together at the weekend.

At is not correct here. I suggest you use on or during.

I am working at hospital since 2007.

The verb usage is not correct. I suggest you say I have worked. Also, you need the definite article the before hospital. Since is used perfectly.

I have worked at the hospital since 2007.

I had lived in Gothenburg for two months.

Perfect.

I had been in Dublin three years ago.

Instead of three years ago, you should for for three years.

I had been in Dublin for three years.

I will arrive before you leave.

Perfect.

You have to stay at bus station at ten to eight.

Make sure you use the definite article the before bus station. Instead of at ten to eight, say from ten to eight.

The bus leaves at ten past eight.

Perfect.

This week I work from Monday till Friday.

Good. Keep in mind till and until can be interchanged.

I will be in a congress until Thursday.

Good. A strange sentence, though. Are you a politician?

I will arrive by nine o’clock

Perfect.

I will be "there" in an hour.

We could all meet together "this weekend".

"I have been" working at the hospital ....

I "lived in" Gothenburg....

I "was in" Dublin....

Youhave to stay at the bus station __________________? I can't determine what you meant to say here.

I hope this helps.

  • why not `here´ in first sentence ? prepostion wise I used `at the weekend´. In the last ten to eight means 7:50 - Reema Jan 1, 2012 flag

You need to be at the bus station at ten till eight.

But I am just as confused with the statement : "I will be in a congress until Thursday."

A congress could be a meeting.

I guess it could mean that he would be tied up in meetings until Thursday.

  • yes, congress means meeting. - Reema Jan 1, 2012 flag
