G'day Heidi , I have put together a post for midnight tonight my time , it is now 3.30 PM . but I have been invited to a spunky party and even if i was able to get to a computer at 12 PM I doubt that I would be in a fit state to post it , so failing a better suggestion from you if I post it to you could you post it for me ? (the rest ...can't be reproduced here )

Although parts of Samoa are for the first time in our time zone and will celebrate

This was Melbournes firwork display which had a "Golden theme " to commemorate

the Gold rush days when Melbourne was one of the worlds richest cities in the

1880/ 90s , it was known as little Paris.

After the show the top of this tower was on fire and because of the zillions of people there the Fire Brigade had trouble getting to it , but all ended well.

The old year of 2011 has ended in some parts of the world and will end in others tonight. I extend many thanks to all here on SD for being my friends and helping me to learn Spanish. Your support and encouragement has been wonderful. Ray, if you (or other members) are hung over, so be it! Enjoy the day after!! Maybe the peace of a late December lake will help!
