ASK A QUESTION Using the Bold or Italics Icon Inserts Last Link
Okay, this is a very odd bug that just started happening to me. Whenever I insert a link, if I later try to bold some text, it does surround that text with the required double-asterisk, but it also inserts the complete last link (including link text).
As an example, I shall now insert a link to Google. I did that by highlighting the world "Google" and then clicking on the link icon and then typing in the URL to Google.
Now, I'm going to bold some text. I did that by highlighting "bold some text" and clicking on the "B" icon. Here in the initial entry of the text, it simply has surrounded the words with double-asterisks. It appears bolded in the preview box.

Anyway, I'm no native Spanish speaker, but I think that's fine...you can also say "junto a todo"...for the idea of "beside everything" or "right next to everything."
I just looked at the dictionary entries (under and beside), and they seem to confirm what you say (just remember it's "al lado de" and not "besideabeside lado de")
- There, this is a post from another thread. I re-typed it here and you can see how it put "beside" as a link on each side of "a". - webdunce Nov 27, 2011 flag

- In this post, I double-clicked on "under" (to highlight it), then I clicked on the link icon and pressed ctrl-v to insert the link. I did the same for beside. Then I clicked-and-dragged to highlight al and clicked the B icon. That worked fine. Then I ... - webdunce Nov 27, 2011 flag
- ...did the same for "a" and got that weirdness there. - webdunce Nov 27, 2011 flag
- I had the same problem making links in Google (so you are not imagining it), but I just went back to Firefox and didn't worry about why it was happening. - qfreed Nov 27, 2011 flag
