Help with assorted song lyrics

Question

I'm working on translating some lyrics myself and I had a couple of questions.

1. Does "perderse la realidad" means "to lose touch with reality"?

2. Is "regozar" a word? I keep finding it in lyrics to a song. It is written online as "nada puede regozarme a tu mirada". Here at 0:47. Maybe it means "enjoy again"? Or maybe is he saying "regocijar" but really fast? I think the line means "Nothing can delight me at your sight" (in other words, "when I see you"). Help?

3. "estar a medio paso de" --> Does think mean "to be a half step away from"?

4. "cuando te desatas, ya no sé que viene después" .... "desatarse" seems like it can have a lot of meanings... I'm thinking here it's like "when you go off, I don't know what comes next anymore".. like "when you erupt"?

"estar a medio paso de" --> Does think mean "to be a half step away from"?

Yes, but It is more like "to be in the final point of an action or a decision or very close to end an action"

Estoy a medio paso de llegar a tu casa / I am almost arriving at your home.

Estoy a medio paso de comprar un auto nuevo / I am very close to buy a new car.

Estuve a medio paso de decirle que la amo pero no tuve suficiente valor. / I almost said her that I am falling in love with her, but I don't had courage.

Depend of the context, but If we are talking about a person "desatarse" mean to run wild.

Esas chicas están desatadas, fue una buena idea venir al bar esta noche. These girls are gone wild, It was a good idea have gone to the bar tonight.

Hopefully a spanish speaker will help. Regozar could be remozar (to brighten up, renew, renovate) I would agree with you on "losing touch with reality"

Here's a link re using perderse la realidad and the general consensus seems to be the following:

I Spanish (which is what I am talking about), "perder el contacto" doesn't seem natural used in a metaphorical sense. I would opt for "romper" or a similar term to get across the metaphorical sense of the term and even a technical sense all the while keeping in mind that there is technical terminology for "losing touch with reality" like "desrealizarse" etc...

As far as your lyrics go I have seen that first bit translated as 'I lost my mind'.

Regarding regozar or regozarse - according to RAE it doesn't exist in either form but I did find it here regozarse - Dicionario de Dicionarios da lingua galega: Recrearse, divertirse, alegrarse.
