Generosa ...... generous woman

Generoso ...... generous man

Ordinaria ..... ordinary woman or thing of femine gender

Ordinario ..... ordinary man or thing of male gender

Spanish uses nouns and adjectives of gender

  • I think the point here is that IN GENERAL, in spanish, if the word ends in o, it refers to an object of male gender or IS an object of male gender, and the a refers to female gender. - Carol Oct 17, 2011 flag
  • I say "in general" because there are always exceptions "el (masculine gender) dia" for example. - Carol Oct 17, 2011 flag

But your original question was "what does ordinada mean?" and that is a different thing...there is no word "ordinada" but "ordenada" means ordered or organized, or ordained.
