Hi everybody! I'm writing a few paragraphs for my Spanish class about what I do in my free time. I'm trying to say in Spanish: "I like to go to the baseball stadium in my spare time. I watch the ball game and drink beer."
Here's what I came up with:
"Me gusta ir al estadio de béisbol. Miro el partido de la pelota y bebo la cerveza."
Is this correct? Any feedback and/or help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Your first sentence looks pretty good to me, but if you want to add "in my spare time" you can say "en mis ratos de ocio" or "en mis ratos libres". In the second sentence I would use "el partido de béisbol" or probably just "el partido", because it sounds redundant. Like saying in English: "I like to go to the baseball stadium and watch the baseball game." Finally, I would say "bebo/tomo cerveza, leaving out the article "la".

You said: "Me gusta ir al estadio de béisbol. Miro el partido de la pelota y bebo la cerveza."
I would rephrase your sentences and make them into one:
Me gusta ir al estadio de béisbol para mirar el partido y tomar (o beber) una cerveza.
I hope this helps ![]()
In spanish... is better to say...
"Me gusta ir al estadio de baseball en mi tiempo libre. Me gusta ver el juego y beber cerveza."
If you say you like to go to the baseball stadium... you imply you like baseball game. "I like to go to the baseball stadium in my spare time. I watch the ball game and drink beer."
Hope you understand me. Sorry for the broken english. I´m not a native speaker. ![]()
Thanks to everyone for all the excellent feedback! So many great suggestions! Thanks again...I truly appreciate it.
