Some examples for "mood" in Spanish:

In a good mood = de buen humor (humor means both humour and mood) In a bad mood = de mal humor

But in your sentence is referring to "estado de ánimo" (mood, spirits)

Translation to your sentence "cómo te has sentido (or has estado) de ánimo hoy?"

Another one: Estoy de buen ánimo = I'm in good spirits

Hope this helps

Warning: I'm totally improvising here, so my attempt might sound very weird grin

Since one could only be either in bad or good mood, so....

¿En cuál estado de humor has estado hoy? WHAT?
