Does this number, on hundred ninety five thousand, translate to ciento noventa y cinco mil ? I already used the translation box, but I just want to check with all of you since sometimes the computer is not accurate. I just need to know how to say this for a presentation so if it is not right, please let me know!!!! I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance! smile

  • If it is, can you please comment below so I know for sure? Thanks! - kanani142 Sep 20, 2011 flag

You're correct smile

The only question is do you really need the "y" between "noventa" and "cinco" ?

In common speech this "y" will typically be dropped.

But if you wanted to be "formal" for your presentation you could also keep the "y".

  • the "y" is indispensable, and necesary to make the pronunciation more easy - RaulSpaniard Sep 21, 2011 flag
