I want to be = Quiero ser/estar.
To be = Ser/estar.

the sense of 'ser' is akin to to be as in being something. ser bueno is to be good a
just yo soy is I am.
on the other hand 'estar' is more akin to being somewhere, or being in a condition, eg estar cansado is to be tired, estar ahi is to be there.
