ASK A QUESTION Questions about the new chatroom
Since some of you have had a chance to try out the new chat room I have a few questions:

When you open the Chat option while in the Whiteboard which Chat room does it display in? the default chat room? Or do you have to invite people to view the Whiteboard and then chat with those people. If so, can all of you access the Whiteboard simultaneously?
A note to anyone concerned. There is a embed button for embedding the Whiteboard at other locations. I already tried. You cannot embed it here on the forum in a thread.

Questions on Group Document:
It displays fine in the Preview window but it will not embed in this thread either.

There is a chat available for the Group document. Is that chat between people that that have moved from the default chat room to the Group document? It is not the chat going on in the default chat room because there was one going on when I captured the picture and those people were not in the chat room in the Group Document.
What exactly is the purpose of the Group Document? Is it so that everyone can have a transcript of the chat they had? You can export the Group document file and you can share them, restore them later, etc. Is it just a common blackboard where say you could write an example sentence and I could edit it? It's just a document that a group works on simultaneously?
I could probably figure this out if I was in the chat room with someone, but even though there is a chat going on, they aren't in the Whiteboard or the Group document to experiment with.
Has anyone used these features with someone and could fill me in on their use. All I've found out so far is that the Whiteboard is pretty limited in its capabilities as a Paint program.
Thanks for any help.

Heidita,
I just found someone using the the Group Document feature. She and I could chat using the chat option shown in the Group Document window. We could both edit the group document.
We went to the Whiteboard feature and we could both edit the Whiteboard and use the Chat option in that feature.
Both features only listed two users while there were four people signed in to the default chat room.
So I think that there exists 3 chat rooms. The default chat room. The chat room in the Whiteboard feature for everyone using it and a chat room for the Group document feature. (and, of course, any user created chat rooms.).
I hope that someone can confirm that for me.
Just to mention it I tried exporting/importing the Group Document. I tried importing a Word document that had a photo in it. All I got was the text, no photo. Sigh! I can see the usefulness of these features, but they aren't anything elaborate. And you can't use HTML tags in the document. Hmm. It can't be a plain text file, because you can export it as an HTML file to open with a browser. I may have to experiment some more.
When you are in the Chat room (the one you are in when you first enter) you can click on the Whiteboard icon. You will then see the whiteboard on your screen. There is also a chat button for the Whiteboard. I think if others from the default chat are also looking at the Whiteboard, you can chat with those people; not the ones in the default chat.
In other words I think that you can be in either the default chat room, the Group Document chat room, or the Whiteboard chat room because I wasn't seeing anyone from the default chat room when I accessed the Whiteboard chat or the Group document chat options.
But I can't be sure because there was not always someone in the default chat room.
I may be totally off base, that's why I'm asking question for someone that has used them along with another person. It's hard for me to chat with someone by myself. (Of course, I do it all of the time, but that's another story).
