Here is a very cool pic that I got from some radio friends of the top of the World Trade Center.

You can scroll 360 degrees and view up and down.

The World Trade Center was a favorite site for broadcast antennas due to it's height. 6 radio and television broadcast engineers were among those that lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

Wow. That is incredible. My ears popped.

We went to America to visit our cousins in Boston when I was about 12 and when we were leaving they were saying what a pity it was we didn't get to go to New York and see the trade centres and that they'd bring us to see them the next time.

It's like trying to imagine a whole mountain just disappearing.

Someone please tell me that I was not the only one who went round and round in circles. grin grin

Thanks for the link, but it freaked me out a little. A little too like being in a place that isn't there for my taste.

  • It must be really strange for someone who actually knew it. As a foreighner I feel really bad for the people that died, but that's where it ends, the building just reminds me of them. I know it has a lot more significance for Americans. - rabbitwho Sep 12, 2011 flag
