Homophone words are those that when are pronounced they sound the same but they are spelled differently and they mean something else. When writing is when you have to know how to write the word correctly, else it is said you suffer from "orthography" disease. smile

Sima/Cima

Vaca/Baca

Tubo/Tuvo

There many more. So please start with these.

EDIT:

I think it is better now, although I'm still in a hurry. smile

Sima/Cima

Those two words are anything but homophones for me and many other millions of Spanish speakers from Spain. That's why we never make spelling mistakes with C, Z and S. The typical example is:

Me voy a cazar = I'm going hunting

Me voy a casar = I'm getting married

Or

Te voy a abrasar = I am going to burn you up

Te voy a abrazar = I am going to hug you

I have found 192 homophones for all dialects, plus 730 that for the majority of the speakers who use "seseo".

sima (chasm), cima (summit) made the list of homophones here so they must take into account regional variations in pronunciation
