There is a lot to like about this site. The translation and dictionary areas are nice.

Reading and listening. Web sites that carry simple news stories are useful - e.g. http://www.20minutos.es/
Listening to Spanish popular music also helps - often simple lyrics & vocabulary with much repetition - online radio stations are good for this, but in the USA you probably have a local Spanish language stations anyhow.
