Remember that tú is familiar and usted is formal!

- tu amiga Ana
- tu jefe
- el abuelo de tu amiga
- tu hermano
- tu doctor y su esposa
- tu prima
- unos amigos
- el director de tu escuela
un sacerdot
- usted
- tú
- usted
- usted
- tú
- ustedes
- tú
- vosotros/ustedes
- usted
- usted
I have a question on some of the answers. In 2, tu amiga ana refers to Ana not you, then why it is tú? it should be ella.Similarly 5 and 7. why is 8, vosotros? It should always be ustedes as there is no reference for you. 9 contradicts 2, 5 and 7 as I pointed out.

Tu .... Your
Tú ..... you
Vosotros is plural familiar form of you.
Ustedes is plural formal form of you, but in the Americas Vosotros is not used so Ustedes in effect becomes non-familiar/formal
The lesson probably could have been written a bit more clearly. I see why you're confused.
Note that the directions say to choose the correct pronoun for each subject. So, make up a sentence in which "tu amiga Ana" is the subject. Then, replace "tu amiga Ana" with the correct subject pronoun (but it has to be a form of you). For example, "Tu amiga Ana es bonita." That would become "Tú es bonita."

"Tu amiga ana" the whole phrase refers to only one subject - Ana. If it were like
Tu, es amiga ana, es muy bonita.
You, my friend Ana, are beautiful
Then it would be more meaningful in this case.
Your friend Ana is beautiful.
Here obviously The subject is Ana nothing to do with "you". I think there is something mistake in it and technically (or genuinely), Ella would be correct here as well according to my understanding. Correct me if I am wrong.
