Hi everybody, I was thinking about a new idea for an A-Z game today and I came across this idea! grin

.

The idea of this game is to write names of important people in the history like: inventors, and also providing some important dates like : the 4th of July wink with describing or saying one thing which made this person or date important in one word

.

Game rules:-

  • Follow in alphabetical order
  • Please include the English translation for each word. .
  • Don't forget to click on NEWEST to see the last letter. smile
  • It would be nice if you posted a PICTURE
  • You don't have to include a sentence.

I'll start with: Anne Frank - Diary = diario

Leonardo da Vinci

I just had to include him.

My number ONE hero.

Así como una jornada bien empleada produce un dulce sueño, así una vida bien usada causa una dulce muerte.

Así como el hierro se oxida por falta de uso, también la inactividad destruye el intelecto.

L ...Abraham Lincoln

alt text

Abraham Lincoln (February 12, 1809 – April 15, 1865) served as the 16th President of the United States from March 1861 until his assassination in April 1865. He successfully led the country through its greatest constitutional, military and moral crisis—the American Civil War--by preserving the Union by force while ending slavery and promoting economic modernization. Reared in a poor family on the western frontier, he was mostly self-educated. He became a country lawyer, an Illinois state legislator, and a one-term member of the United States House of Representatives, but failed in two attempts at a seat in the United States Senate. He was an affectionate, though often absent, husband, and father of four children.

Charles Darwin. English naturalist from the 19th century. He wrote On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection. He established that all species of life have descended over time from common ancestry, and proposed the scientific theory that this branching pattern of evolution resulted from a process that he called natural selection.
