Hello all, I have noticed that I don't have a solid translation in my head for "as such", which is a useful term to use in literary papers and descriptions.

Here is my sentence:

I would appreciate your response on this, or any equivalents you may think are relavent. ¡Muchas Gracias!

  • I suppose ¨por eso¨could work, but I wonder if there´s a better choice available... :) - athegr8 Mar 9, 2011 flag

as such (tal como?)

jeje, you almost got it rightwink

como tal is what you are looking forgrin

In any case, this sentence sounds weird, can you give us the English version?

I think they meant "tiempo real", and that "es decir" would work better than "y como tal", at least in what I would take the English sentence to be.

I found this is a dictionary.

as such

como tal, propiamente dicho

It’s not a promotion as such.

such as

Such as? ¿Por ejemplo?

flowers such as orchids flores como las orquídeas

such as it is / they are

This is my flat, such as it is. Este es mi apartamento, ya ves.
