what does re chulos mean?

Question

like someone says, como me queda? and the other responds, re chulos.

The prefexis re-, rete- and requete- add emphasis as in 'very'.

They could be saying "wey, chulos" which "chulos" means "cool" and "wey" can mean "friend or buddy".

Important to say this is also slang, and if I understand and remember correctly, I believe it's used only in Mexico?

Fistly, the prefix re is not slang nor it is used only in México:

re-.

(Del lat. re-).

So you could say:

Esto está rebueno, retebueno o requetebueno!!!

Secondly, chulo/chula is a mexicanism, and means pretty.

You could also say:

Cómo me queda?

Rebonito.

Retebonito.

Requetebonito.
