Hi.

I was trying to understand what "quedate conmigo" means and found out that it means "stay with me". However, "quedar" means "to stay, to remain". I got confused here. Would anyone please explain to me why "quedar" is used here as "quedate"?

Thank you.

QuedarSE means to stay. It's pronomial, and the SE is needed, the te is the form of SE that is used there.

Thank you, jeezzle and heidita for the answers. I feel like it's very hard for me to understand the use of "se", the pronominal words. Is there any easy way to understand how and when to use it?

By the way, it's been long time that I haven't had chance to be here and I am so glad to see you guys, my friends. tongue laugh
