word of day

Question

Is there a way to track down past words of the day? The reason I ask is because there was a word of the day a few weeks back that had to do with the home. I believe an alternate definition was fondness. I thought I had it commited to memory but it seems I didn't and I have been racking my brain to try to remember but I can't. Does anyone recall this word? Thanks!!!!
