¡Gracias a todos!

Cuando vi esta discusión pensé que se trataba de alguien que estaba felicitándome con retraso por mi verdadero cumpleaños, que fue hace más de un mes. Acabo de darme cuenta -con la ayuda de un mensaje privado- de que se trata de mi "cumpleaños" en el foro.

Espero no meter la pata más, y serle de ayuda a los que quieren aprender de verdad.

I would like to express my sincerest thanks for your guidance. When I first came onto this site I wasn't sure what to expect, other than a bunch of people trying to learn a language. You were gentle in your repsonses/corrections and was always willing to help me. When you "left" for a bit, I was wondering if you were going to return and of course, you did. Thank you for your continued guidance and encouragement not just for me but for all people on this forum to strive to be the best Spanish and English speakers (as well as writers) that we can. You are a valued member and a good person. Happy Birthday, my friend!!

Real birthday or not (I haven't been round these parts to know any stories behind...well, anything, really), I just want to thank you for all of your guidance. Your knowledge is incredible, and what a blessing it is that you share that knowledge (and wisdom) with the rest of us.

Hola Lazarus, espero que puedas estar entre nosotros por muchos años más. He tenido la oportunidad de leer siempre con detenimiento todas tus intervenciones, y no solamente en este foro cino en otros en los cuales participas y, la verdad, he aprendido muchísimo.

Aunque sé que tu cumpleaños lo debiste haber celebrado el pasado 30 de noviembre, de todas maneras te deseo muchas felicidades y que sigas cumpliendo muchos más y a la vez cumpliendo con tu misión en esta tierra de enseñar y compartir los conocimientos que tienes sobre este nuestro bello idioma.

Algún pensador comentó algo muy sabio: "Tres grupos de personas son infelices en la vida. Los que no saben y no preguntan. Los que saben y no enseñan y,los que aprenden y no practican".
