ASK A QUESTION Meaning of Igual
What would be a good way to translate the response to this question?
A: ¿Qué te parece esta camisa? Creo que se me ve muy bien.
B: Igual y sí. Pruébate otra.
A: ¿Porqué? ¿Se me nota mucho la pansa?
B: La pansa se te nota con o sin camisa.
Igual.. in this case means like "okay"? "so-so?" I don't know what "y sí" is supposed to mean here too. Muchas Gracias!

hmm... igual y sí... is used when you think it might work, but you aren't very sure...
A: so... what do you think of my shirt?... I think it looks very good on me
B: It might work on you
delete-context is everything!
Thanks for the replies! I edited my original question to include the rest. I don't think B is getting a good impression, which is why I was wondering about "igual y sí"
