I've asked every native speaker that I know , and haven't got, one response, to satisfy me. I need to translate this fig . or l lit. preferably both ways , gracias.

"Aquel que quiere vender algo valioso, y para venderlo lo platica a un pozo... no es más hábil consiguiendo oro, que aquel que se trepa en un árbol y grita al mundo ¡Les vendo este tesoro!".... (fig... it's the same, but it rhymes)

el que tiene algo que vender, entonces va y le susurra en el pozo, no es tan conveniente, para obtener el dólar, que el que sube a un árbol y grita
