Is there a way of saying this rudely? Is "Vamos, salimos" a correct translation, or is there a better way of wording it?

¡Venga! Nos vamos.

  • Venga is the Ud command form so you probably wouldn't be saying that to someone you wouldn't be prepared to address as tú :) I'd go with ven (tú) or vengan (pl) - Kiwi_Girl Oct 28, 2010 flag

Kevin is right. Ven is the command form, while vengas is just "you come"

Ven, estamos saliendo.

  • Vengas is the 2nd person singular subjunctive, not the imperative, which is ven. You usually wouldn't use the present progrssive in Spanish, either. It means you are currently in the act of doing something, not that you're going to do it. - KevinB Oct 28, 2010 flag

Us Salvadorians would say: "¡apuráte vos, veníte!"

Otra opción...

¡Nos largamos ya!

Vení, apurate, nos vamos. The first two verbs are "vos" forms that are used extensively in Nicaragua. "Tú" is not used at all. I'm 67 and look it, but only people middle-aged or over will say "usted" to me.
