ASK A QUESTION How you say "I wish that there was something I can do to make you feel better"

What about ojalá? Could it possibly be something like: Ojalá que yo pudiera hacer algo para que te sintieras mejor. (I'm not really satisfied with that. I hope a native speaker comes along soon.)
- Ojala is the way to go, I agree after reading your post. - Jeremias Sep 19, 2010 flag
- Very nice! "yo" is not necessary - JulianChivi Sep 19, 2010 flag
Ok - my version: Ojalá que pudiera hacer algo para que te sientas mejor.
Hmm my best guess would be this:
Deseo hacer algo para que tú sientas mejor.
I would definitely use the subjuntive for this sentence. Hope this helps! ![]()

Ojalá que pudiera decir algo que haría sentirte mejor.
You need the subjunctive following desear. That much I can tell you for sure.
For the actual translation, I'm going to take a stab at it, but don't take this as the best way to say this:
Deseo que fuera algo que podría hacer para hacerte sentir mejor.
My choice: Quisiera poder hacer algo para hacerte sentir mejor.

I asked my neighbor...
Ojalá que pudiera hacer algo para que sientas mejor.
