Va a la lluvia.

  • This is not quite correct, martanzana. Close, though. :) - MacFadden Sep 5, 2010 flag
  • Sorry, but your sentence is plain wrong! - lazarus1907 Sep 5, 2010 flag
  • Think verb for to rain, not noun. You're on the right track. - KevinB Sep 5, 2010 flag

Wouldn't 'to rain' be the infinitive?

So, wouldn't it be:

Va a llover.

Just curious....

  • Well, yes, but we were trying to get Dianne to give it a try herself so she could get some practice making her own sentences... - MacFadden Sep 5, 2010 flag
  • Sorry MacFadden - you are correct - it would be much better for Dianne to get practice. - IndianaChris Sep 6, 2010 flag

Dianne, why don't you have a go yourself?

Hi, Dianne. We are happy to help you, but we'd much rather improve your translation than give you ours. There is an alright automated translator here or, preferably, you can use the dictionary at the top of the page. Then just edit your post to include your attempt and we will make any appropriate corrections. Thanks. smile

  • Oh, sorry, lazarus. I didn't see your post. Didn't mean to double-post. - MacFadden Sep 5, 2010 flag
