ASK A QUESTION i hear "comot te fue" or "como te ido" phrases a lot what do they mean? and what are other greetings to say?

como te ido is incorrect. To use the past participle as a verb you must have the auxilary verb haber in some tense and mood.. The past participle as a verb is only used in the perfect tenses (I have xxx, I had xxx, I will have xxx, I would have xxxx) or with Ser in passive voice.
Oops! I just noticed that you are discussing greetings.
Present tense
¿Cómo se va? ¿Cómo te va? (How is it going?)
Past tense
¿Cómo te fue? or ¿Cómo se fue? (How did it go?)
¡Hola!
Sorry for being so meticolous haha but I think ¿Cómo se va? is different from ¿Cómo te va?, as well as ¿Cómo te fue? from ¿Cómo se fue?
¿Cómo se va? and ¿Cómo se fue? would mean something like How are you leaving? or How did you left?
If what you meant was How is it going or How did it go? in a more formal way, I think it'd be ¿Cómo le va? or ¿Cómo le fue?
However, I agree whit you that ¿Cómo te ido? is wrong, but ¿Cómo te ha ido? would be nice ^^
- I agree about the difference between le and se, but googling you see both translated as How is it going? And just to note ¿Cómo se va? gets around 2 1/2 time more hits. Go figure. - qfreed Aug 30, 2010 flag
- I really don't know why any pronoun is used. ¿Cómo va? looks good to me. (And gets about as many hits as both le & se va together) - qfreed Aug 30, 2010 flag
