I can certainly understand your frustration. I think you have to look at progress in very, very small steps. Often it doesn't seem like you're making any progress... when in fact you are. I recommend as much immersion as possible. You may be focusing too much on trying to learn the grammar rules, sentence structure etc, when it may be better for you to just listen, pick up phrases, and keep practicing.
