ASK A QUESTION "Siempre me acuerdo de ti con mucho cariño"
Hello everyone. This is mostly a question directed to native speakers or to those with extensive experience of the language.
Today I learned the difference between "recordar" and "acordarse de".
The other day I wrote to a friend of mine:
"Siempre me acuerdo de ti con mucho cariño", whicle I should have normally written "Siempre te recuerdo con mucho cariño", because the verb "recordar" has more to do with bringing the memory of a person in mind.
Does the sentence "Siempre me acuerdo de ti con mucho cariño" sound that ridiculously funny or is it just my idea?
Please give me some honest feedback!

Absolutely nothing wrong with that sentence! I use it, if that makes you feel any better:
Me acuerdo mucho/muchísimo de ti.
