ASK A QUESTION Adobe Flash Updater Poping-up in Translation tab of Spanich Dict
When I use the IE browser for Translation I get the Adobe Flash Installer popping up and insisting to install an upgrade. I do not need this upgrade but I can't use the translator because if I refuse the upgrade my Spanish Dict browser tab closes. I have no such problem in Mozilla but I prefer to use IE for Spanish Dict because this browser allows me to right click a word and displays the translation (I have been unable to duplicate this function in Mozilla. Perhaps a topic for another question...)
This pop-up problem is very recent. Yesterday Spanish Dict Translation in IE worked fine.
Anybody have a similar problem or an remedy to this annoying problem?

As a software engineer I would recommend not using IE. It's a buggy, virus prone piece of, well, to put it politely on a family friendly forum, bad software. You can double click on a word in Firefox to translate.
If you insist on using IE you might as well install the Flash update. It's free, and Flash, in and of itself, works fine. Apparently IE thinks your current Flash plug-in is not compatible with the Flash file it's trying to play. Also, make sure you have the latest version of IE. Microsoft does frequently try to patch the gaping security holes in it.
Another option is to try the Google Chrome browser.

- I am now using Chrome and love it. Translates twice as fast as IE. Great advice. - theMax Aug 24, 2010 flag
If you switch to Mozilla's Firefox, I suggest that you try the Surefire Add-in. It makes screen captures like the ones that you posted very simple.
I used to use a 3rd party software for screen captures, edit them in Paint, post the cropped photos to a web photo hosting site, and then embed them here.
SureFire simplifies that process. You can capture, crop, edit, post to their free host site, and get the embed codes all from within the Surefire Add-in. (You can also edit, email, print, etc. from the program.) Not bad for a free Add-in that saves you from opening and closing several different windows and programs. (It has it's own browser toolbar that sits above the status bar at the bottom of your screen, so it is always available. Handy for a SpanishDict. user.
