ASK A QUESTION Great news! My son got into Seventh grade Spanish!
So at the end of school in May I encouraged my son to sign up for Spanish this term, and he got in! Yay! I'm excited for him. I'm thinking of volunteering to help in the class as well, I heard they only speak Spanish during the class. So if the teacher agrees to let me help out, that will be great for me too!

That is totally awesome!! Ok, I'm so bias but seriously I think kids should take a language, any language!!! I think Spanish is a G R E A T choice but learning another language can open so many doors for you!! Did I mention that I think S P A N I S H is the best choice?!!
Good for him!!

Great news! I hope that they do only speak Spanish in the class...lots of good instruction and learning with no or very limited English.
Wow great news Amy , congratulations I am so happy for you ![]()

Congrats that's wonderful news.
I remember having a short unit of Spanish in the 7 th grade with a student teacher. I can still remember the alphabet and a little dialogue she did with us. That is a great age to start. You will learn so much in class. Most schools don't offer it around here until high school.
I took Spanish in 5th and 6th grade but I don't think I can remember much from back then, except that my teacher was super nice.
That is really good news Amy, I can only imagine what it would be like to have another person in the house learning a new language.
I remember 7th grade. We had half a year of Latin and then they decided it was a dead language. (I am dating myself aren't I?)
How great! Now you each have a study buddy at home!
