ASK A QUESTION When you say that you like multiple things should you say "Me gustan" or "Me gusta?"
When you say that you like multiple things, shouldn't you say 'Me gustan bailar y acampar' and not 'Me gusta bailar y acampar.'...?
When you talk about bailar y acampar there are two things, so it's like a plural. Therefore, it makes sense that the two things would "me gustan (they please me)" rather than "me gusta (it pleases me)." However, in the speaking section of Lesson 1.7, "me gusta" was used to describe multiple activities.

I believe that if you have a series of singular items that you like, you would use the singular form of "gustar."
Me gusta bailar y acampar.

Me gustan los chocolates y las frutas.
- Also with a single plural item. "Me gustan las empanadas." - Guillermo2 Aug 6, 2010 flag
I believe that the infinitives will automatically revert to the singular in this case.
