Thank you so much everyone! I am a person that likes acknowledgement of "milestones" and this is certainly a great one for me in my Spanish journey.

It wasn't until I reached just past "5k" that I thought 'Oh hang on a sec, I'm past "half-way" - and then it occurred to me 'Oh wouldn't it be good to get to 10k one day' and here I am....

I found this site by sheer "accident" I think I was looking up a word, or perhaps a phrase, not even sure now. Whenever I explain to people what I do in my spare time one of the first things I tell them about is this fabulous site - and the friendships I have made here.

I feel the "written word" in any language has the power to break down barriers; encourage empathy; create lifelong friendships and of course bring us together.
