Is This Essay Correct?

We have to write a Spanish final and my teacher told us we can write out a copy and practice saying it before the day of the final: La semana pasada, después de la verano comenzó, yo tomé el viaje a Taiwan. Primero, yo tuve que hacer el equipaje. Yo poní el cepillo, el champú, el jabón, la pasta de dientes, y la toalla. Anteayer, yo llegé a Taiwan. El aeropuerto es muy magnífico y grande. Luego, yo dormí en la casa de mi abuelo. Ayer, yo fui visitar y hablé con mí los primos. Yo tengo una muy grande familia. Después, yo comí mucho y me reí mucho durante la cena. Me gusta el arroz y la carne. Luego, yo dormí en la habitación. Hoy, por la mañana, yo como jugo de naranja y pan. Me gusta el desayuno mucho porque es delicioso. Yo fui la tiendas y el centro commercial. Me gustan la tiendas porque son emocionante. Yo tengo mucho el dólar en mi cartera porque estoy comprando la ropa y los libros en la librería. Me gusta leo libros porque es muy interesante. Luego, yo fui almuerzo en el café con mi primos. La comida es muy deliciosa y yo bebo un refresco. Por la noche, yo baño y lavo los dientes antes de me acuesto. Mañana, yo acabar de mi viaje a Taiwan y yo vuelvo a Estados Unidos.

I'm a Spanish student too, so I can't tell you if you're using the right verb or tense, but if you're using poner for "Yo poní el cepillo...", the preterite is yo puse.... The preterite for llegar ("yo llegé a Taiwan") is yo llegué. I think even in the past tense you need to have "a" after ir and both verbs after should be in the infinitive "Ayer, yo fui visitar y hablé" would be ... yo fui a visitar y hablar. You put "con mí los primos" and it should be con mis primos. "Me gusta leo" should be Me gusta leer. Verbs following gustar are in the infinitive. And towards the end, you start changing tenses, making it cinfusing to follow. You start with "Hoy, por la mañana, yo como..." in present tense, then change to preterite at "Yo fui la tiendas" (I also think it should be fui a las), then back to present at "Yo tengo mucho ", back to preterite "yo fui almuerzo" (and I think that should be yo fui a almuerso or just yo almorcé), back to present "La comida es muy..." Your last sentence starts with Mañana. If you're meaning tomorrow, you will need to use the future tense or ir a ... instead of present, but if you mean the next morning, you'll probably want to use the preterite. I don't think you're trying to say you're still in Taiwan.

But, I'm just a Spanish student too so I might've given you some bad advice. If someone tells you something different, they probably know more than I do. lol. Good luck. I hope this helps.
