Cats or Dogs? Gatos o Perros?

Question

Which do you think is better, dogs or cats . ¿Cuál piensas es mejor? perros o gatos?

I say cats are better because: Digo que los gatos son mejores porque:

1. They are more independent (son más independientes)
2. They clean themselves (Se limpian a sí mismos)

3. You can leave their food out without them eating it all (se puede dejar su comida sin ellos comer toda)

I like both and although I loved my cat when i was little it's my dog that was my best friend

Still I have to say that we don't have a dog at the moment so that we can go away when we want but we do have a cat because cats are much easier.

Cats are independent. There is no problem if you leave a cat alone at home for a few days and they will not be traumatized. Just make sure you leave enough dry food and water available to them.

Also, cats purr. And is really is a feel good sound. It has even been proven that a cat’s purr can lower your blood pressure and your stress levels.

I've always had cats because they are soft, loving, and easy to take care of. However, recently (two years ago) we adopted our first dog...she's fantastic!!! A little mixed dog -- part chihuahua and part dachshund -- who is the cutest being on earth. She looks something like this:

Not too fussed about cats , I like dogs ,but they are not good friends with my chickens and I love my chickens for they give me presents every day.

I am a cat person all the way. I grew up raising dogs and I think that I have grown tired. I have three cats, Mama cat, Cyclone, and Amos. They are my loves except when they throw up on the rug.

It's all the same to me. We have two dogs, three cats, a rabbit and a turtle. As you can see, we like animals.

I don't like cats, because they hunt and eat one of my favorite animals: Iguanas

I am at odds with dogs because some of them ate a bunch of my clutch of another one of my favored critters, morrocoyes (land turtles):

Nah... the fact is, I like most animals, regardless.
