I heard this word several times on a Spanish soap opera. It was used in the context of referring to a man, a laborer or a peasant of some kind. The soap opera story line takes places during the feudal system. Any ideas what this means? Thanks

Hi Gigi,

Probably you mean "mozo" (and the soup opera was from South America, so they pronounce it like "moso"').
It means "young man". it was a very common word in the Middle Ages to name the young man helping to his lord.

Un saludo,
Mary
