How would you say "empty promises"

For example, "Me molestan las promesas vacías." I'm bothered by empty promises. Is this the correct usage of the words. Also is there a more accurate Spanish equivalent phrase?

Another option for "empty promises" would be "promesas no cumplidas", but your translation is fine.
