We use that expression in Argentina, and it's not mystical at all. I can't tell you the meaning in an open post. If you think It's kind of "adult" related meaning let me know and I will tell you in a PM.

An example of a question using this is: "¿Nene, vos ya le viste la cara a Dios?"

La expresión se vincula con tener relaciones sexuales. (Tampoco hay que ser tan puritanos si van a consultar sobre el uso de la lengua)
