ASK A QUESTION I want to say the couple is lying under the trees.
I'm writing a poem in Spanish and I want to say the couple is lying under the trees. there are so many ways to say someone is lying (as in lying down) I wonder the best way(s) to imply relaxation, a very positive enjoyable lying down?
To give you further context: I am describing a scene with Krisna and his companion Radha lying together in a loving embrace in a garden in the spring surrounded by flowers.
I can also post my poem when I am done. (I'm a beginner in Spanish, so it may be quite atrocious, but it IS a great homework assignment!)
Thanks for any help you can give me.

This sounds like a great assignment! What about "tumbados" as in "están tumbados a la sombra de los árboles". Just a thought...
- yes, the assignment is to write a poem that describes a picture (and include the picture) - kittybrougha Apr 12, 2010 flag
Kitty, how nice to see you around I am happy to see you continue with your studies![]()
And please D O post the poem once it is finished, we will gladly proofread it for you, and I also hope to see you more frequently now...have you seen on the "games and challenges" all the things we got? -voice recordings by natives for example?
Tumbado abrazados
echados abrazados
- It sounds like there is some great stuff I haven't seen yet - how exciting! I will check it out. I am still working hard, taking a class once a week and finding new ways to practice. Thanks for the nice welcome back. - kittybrougha Apr 14, 2010 flag
