Ten cuidado is a "command" of sorts. It means be careful. The sentence structure is not right. Write it in English and we'll see what we can do.

ten is the informal command form of tener.

Ten cuidado is commonly rendered as be careful rather than take care (cuídate)

In your sentence the writer was trying to say take care of your family or to keep it in the same form as the rest of the verb series: ...doing many thing in order to work, to study, and to take care of your family. (cosas para trabajar, estudiar y cuidar de su familia.)

The infinitives are commonly translating using the ing form as well as "to xxx."

...doing things for working, studying, and taking care of your family.

to take care of something=cuidar(se) de algo
