I understand that "canas" can be translated like "grey hair", but I don't know how to say in English sentences like these:

"Tengo muchas canas"

"Estoy canoso"

"Tengo el pelo encanecido"

Thanks.

Tengo muchas canas.-I have lots of grey hair.

Estoy canoso.-I am grey-haired.

And I am not sure about the last one. The dictionary says that encanecido is the participle of the verb encanecer.

"Estoy canoso" - I am whited-haired / silver-haired / grey-haired / grizzled.

"Tengo el pelo encanecido" - I have grizzled hair.

I should be able to answer this question quickly since> empiezo a tener canas, aunque no estoy ya tan canoso.

I will think about the answer and post tomorrow...unless someone has already done so by then. It is late here and if I don't go to bed, then for sure tomorrow I will find "que tengo más que hoy el pelo encanecido:-("

Grizzled hair sound like a bear. You would say I am graying.

Or, Kevin, instead of

You would say I am graying

How about "I'm starting to go grey"..."I'm getting grey".
