¿cómo usar el verbo do y did para hacer preguntas?

Do is infinitive or present simple and Did es past simple.

Ok eso lo sé, pero quiero saber como formular preguntas con "do" o "did", lo que me interesa saber es en que momento se hacen o bajo que condiciones o restricciones, si se usa cuando existe X verbo. En cuanto a lo de infinitivo y pasado si lo distingo.

The basic distinction is the same in English as in Spanish. For present conditions ("do" or "will do" for the future) and for past conditions "did"( or "have done"/"had done").
