ASK A QUESTION what does "la luenga" mean? And "ventanucos"

La luenga caña (the long cane), perhaps? "cane" as in the plant (possibly the "spare the rod, spoil the child" type of cane).
I believe that the word cana should be caña. In which case the phrase would be:
La luenga caña que el maestro tenia detrás de la puerta.
The long reed or cane that the teacher had behind the door.
I don't understand the sentence very well, but, I don't think "luenga" is a word... I think you may mean "lengua" (I may be wrong though)
No unfortunately i dont mean that lengua in the text it states the noun " la luenga" out of a literary text. And i'm completely lost...:(
la luenga cana means "long gray hair"
but I think the sentence is not correct because it becomes something like ;
the long gray hair that the master had behind the door... so what?
this is a faulty sentence i think if it's not an idiom. But luenga has two meanings ; lateness or long... ![]()
