ASK A QUESTION A question found in a letter
Dear all,
Here is the letter writing from Alfonso to his friend-Maria,

Alfonso
I don't really understand the structure of above sentence : (
Recuerdos a Ana y T'u: regards to Ana and you , is it correct ? Recibe los amistosos saludos de : why use recibe here , who is the subject? and "de" ... of whom?
thanks for your help.

Hi dama, welcome to the site![]()
Greetings to ana, and you, receive (imperative) the friendly greetings/greetings from your friend Alfonso
Is this clearer now?
already answered even though I think that punctuation allows for an alternate understanding.
Quentin, you are missing something, if the greetings were directed at Ana and the poster it should have been:
Saludos a Ana y a ti,----
Friendly regards are for Ana, and the poster is receiving the greetings from your friend.....
