Can someone tell me what this means? I searched on the dictionary and tried the translator, all of which don't give me anything of use... I'm thinking that it may be from the verb pasar but I have no clue smile

Here's some context.

"Sin embargo, hay gente que piensa que todo esto es una pérdida de tiempo y prefieren buscar otros métodos más rápidos y menos pesados para hacer dinero."

Thanks in advance.

methods that demand less work...

  • A reasonable translation for "métodos más rápidos y menos pesados" but not for "pesados" in isolation. - samdie Feb 24, 2010 flag
  • He didn't ask about "pesados" in isolation, but in this context dear samdie :) - Benz Feb 24, 2010 flag

The dictionary will only list the singular form of a word, so if a word isn't found in the dictionary and looks plural, try looking up the logical singular form. In this case, pesado.

It's a conjugation of the verb pesar. However, I don't know why there's an "s" on the end, could it be a typo? or just a mistake?....But, in the context, it probably means, burdensome or something like that....

  • "pesado" is an adjetive there - Benz Feb 24, 2010 flag
  • ok, thanks benz :) - hlsbookworm Feb 24, 2010 flag
  • Plural form of a simple past participle which can be used in compound past tenses or, as here, as an adjective. - samdie Feb 24, 2010 flag
  • As I said... an adjetive ...jeje - Benz Feb 24, 2010 flag
