How do I say "I hope to be there"

Question

I just want to indicate that I hope to be at a particular meeting.

Yo espero estar ahí. ( I hope to be there )

Yo espero asistir a la reunión ( I hope to attend the meeting )

• It's not wrong, but you don't need to say "Yo". By saying espero you are referring to yourself. - Nathaniel Feb 17, 2010

Anhelo estar ahí (I am looking forward to being there/anxious to be there.)
