ASK A QUESTION Flores de alquiler

I'm specifically referring to a song by the group "La Quinta Estacion"
The chorus goes: "no me valen tus excusas ni tus flores de alquiler"
My guess is it means "rental flowers" or "rented flowers"?
Thanks. This is a great site, I wish I had more time to spend here, but I am working toward that. I also need to get a microphone in order to finish my first lesson ![]()

yes that is correct, it is a metaphor since you don't rent flowers, to indicate: I don't care about your cheap of light efforts to conquer me.. LOL

I think you're right...it's rented flowers.
Neither your excuses nor rented flowers have value to me.
