Think i have most of this right but i'm unsure of a part; a poet of the fields and ragged hillside,words do not concern him;un poeta de los campos y la ladera andrajosa,palabras no [lo preocupan]'

In this case could concern mean affect? I don't think that preocuparse is the verb that you need to use, but I am having a problem deciding what this sentence is about exactly.

It is from a poem,and 'concern' here means that ,as a poet, he doesn't deal with words,but with fields,landscape, aman of the soil,as it were.

Sory for delay in replying,my net connection was giving troble,Yes i like,las laderas toscas,toscas;rough;crude,primitive,my dictionary defines it.He doesn't pay attention to words,thats a las palabras no les hace caso'Well,thats very good,esta mas claro,graciasOverall,i like the soound of that now.

Don't worry about how long you took to respond, it took me a while to think of how to word it.
It almost looks a little poetic in itself. I'm glad that you are happy with it.
