not but close, I would say: Con mi mamá compramos muchos comestibles. With my mom we bought lot of groceries. or Mi mamá compro muchos comestibles. My mom bought a lot of groceries

What are you trying to say?

My mom buys groceries.

My mom bought groceries.

My mom buys us groceries.

My mom bought us groceries.

Right now your verb "comprar" is in the nosotros ("we") form, so it can't match "Mi mamá".
