When i start to really get into learning verb conjugation, what is the best way to go about it. Can you all give me some pointers on what to concentrate on, and where to focus my skills.

It seems very hard to me to memorize 60 different ways to conjugate one verb, so there has to be a simpler way to start doing that.

any suggestions and advice?

No estoy fluida en la lengua de español. Intenta usando su memoria para las frases y expresiónes in español. Noto que algunos contextos de verbos, usado en algunos expresiónes, esta usado solomente en el contexto de expresión. Son las seis contextos por verbos in ingles y nueve en español. I am not fluent in Spanish. Try using memorizing (using you memory) for phrases and expresions in Spanish. I notice that some verbs contexts used in some expresions are used only in the context of the expresion. There six conjugations for verbs in English and 9 in Spanish. ¡Tiene diversión con español! Have fun with Spanish!

I think it makes sense to do one single pattern...(There are far fewer patterns than 60!!) ...without checking a reference book, I think that there are from 12 to 16 ?? of course, there are probably little "extras" to learn about some of the patterns - like a strange past participle (vuelta comes to mind.)

For example, dormir. Conjugating it follows a pattern. I would learn that pattern ...using full sentences!! and you will know how to conjugate all the verbs that follow that pattern.

.........afterwards, on to pattern two. Maybe, volver!

-o -as -a -amos -an

This is the basic 5. If you can just remember these, everything in spanish will be easier. Good Luck!
