Spanish podcasts....free from itunes! you can download them to your ipod or burn onto CDs to listen to in the car. they are great...!

Watch Spanish TV/ movies/read Spanish newspapers/books/Download free podcast/make friends with someone who speaks Spanish/sign up for a class at a Community College/search for good free sites(hey, you found this one, so you're on your way with that)listen to Latin music/Radio in Spanish.If you want to learn bad enough you'll find ways!!

Once you get some basic vocabulary down, one of the best tools is to go through the translation, video, and picture challenges posted in this forum. These are activities that force you to actively think about what you are trying to say or read, and in most cases you have to do some research as well. That kind of active involvement will get brain "thinking" in Spanish. Otherwise, passive activities will be mindless babble that go in one ear and out the other.
